Driver Licenses and Requirements:

Customer must carry a valid G License and Major credit card to be able to rent our service. The credit card must also have a minimum amount of $500 available at the time of the vehicle pick up. Xceed Car Rental Inc. reserves the right to do a DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) check on any renter. In this check, we will perform verification of the renter and any additional drivers.
The Xceed Car Rental Inc. reserves the right to deny a rental if you’re driving history shows any of the following:

- Invalid, suspended or revoked license
- One or more convictions for reckless driving within a certain time frame (as determined by the individual rental company)
- One DUI, DWI or DWAI conviction within a certain time frame (as determined by the individual rental company)
- Failure to report/leave the scene of accident within a certain time frame (as determined by the individual rental company)
- Possession of stolen vehicle or use of vehicle in a crime
- Expired license
- Three or more convictions for moving violations within a certain time frame (as determined by the individual rental company)
- Two or more accidents within a certain time frame (as determined by the individual rental company)

Xceed Car Rental Inc. may refuse to rent if any of the above requirement is not met.

Mileage Restrictions

Kilometers are unlimited as long as the vehicle remains inside the province of Ontario, with a maximum of 3000km. If the vehicle is traveling outside of Ontario, kilometers are 200kms daily, 1400kms weekly, and 3000kms monthly. Additional kilometers are charged according to vehicle size between 0.12 and 0.19 per km. Unlimited mileage does not apply to 7, 8, and 12-passenger vehicles.
 

Out of Province/USA Policy

An additional $4.99 per day will apply for out of province usage, and $9.99 per day for USA usage. Destination must be stated at the time of rental. Failure to do so may void any CDW purchased, and the renter may be charged up to $500 as a penalty.

Restriction/ policies for Local Renters

LoA local renter implies a customer renting a vehicle in his province of residence or he who is unable to provide a boarding pass.

Following restrictions apply:
- Unlimited mileage is not offered. Kilometers are limited to 200kms/day with a maximum of 3000kms/ month only.
- Proof of liability coverage in Ontario must be provided (car insurance slip in the renter’s name). We reserve the right to decline renting the vehicle if proper documentation is not provided.

- Vehicle may be picked up during extended airport hours but must be returned during the hours stated above. Additional days charge may apply if the vehicle is returned during extended hours.

Mon - Fri: 9am - 8pm
Sat: 10am- 4pm.
Sun: By appointment

-Free Shuttle service are provided within the above stated hours only.  After hours pick up time can be arranged at an additional charge from $25 to $50 depending on your arrival time. 

PLEASE NOTE THAT SHUTTLE SERVICE IS ONLY PROVIDED DURING OUR NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS TO THE AIRPORT.
 

Cancellation Policy

** All cancellations are subjected to a one day rental charge . Cancellations must be submitted 72hrs prior to pickup time to avoid full rental charge as per reservation . For weekend/long weekend cancellation request must be sent 72hrs before the weekend . Any early returns subject to a full charge as per reservation or at our regular rates .This applies for following vehicles : Compact , Intermediate ,Midsize , Full size ,

Due to the demand on our fleet during high seasons, all cancellations on confirmed reservations are subjected to full rental charges as per the reservation. This applies for the following vehicles: 7-12 passenger vans, minivans, SUVs.              

NO REFUNDS ON ANY VEHICLE RESERVATIONS AS MENTIONED ABOVE. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.

International Driver Licenses and Requirements

We accept all North American Licenses.
Drivers having licenses with restrictions must check with their local province laws. Any discrepancies may result in declining to rent the vehicle. Any drivers license outside North America must be in English and be accompanied by a passport.
International Licenses must also be accompanied with passports.  Please note that for security reasons, we may request up to 3 IDs. 

Loss & Damage waiver/ Collision & Damage waiver (LDW/CDW)

Xceed Car Rental offers Loss and damage waiver/Collision damage waiver to all our valued customers; even to those who have their own rental policy from their insurance companies and they do not want to spoil their driving record. This coverage is mandatory for all of those who do not have their insurance policy. Some deductibles do apply depending on the vehicle type. Any customer who wishes to decline our LDW/CDW (Loss/Collision & Damage waiver) packages must present documentary proof of personal insurance at the rental counter at the time of pickup.

Customers, who intend to use their own insurance, will still be liable for any damage caused to our rental vehicle which is not covered by their insurance company.

For customers using their credit cards for insurance coverage must check with their respective credit card companies for liability coverage. A mandatory charge of $8.99/day applies for lack of liability or 3rd party liability coverage.

Please note that credit cards insurance coverage only covers collision and damage to the vehicle through their CDW policy and not damage to any property or 3rd party. Credit card coverage only extends to the vehicle and not to any person involved. Please contact your credit card insurance provider for more info.

Reservation confirmation

Reservations are not confirmed unless they are submitted at least 48hrs prior to the pickup date.
If you are reserving within 48hrs of pick up time, please call the office to confirm.

Fuel

Vehicle must be returned at the same level of fuel as rented. A $25 service charge plus fuel cost will apply if not returned at the same level.

Age Requirements

Minimum Age: 23
Age 23 to 24 - $9.99 Surcharge applies.

Additional Drivers

1 additional driver is permitted. An additional charge of $ 9.99 applies per day (per additional driver)
Minimum Age for Additional Driver: 23
All additional drivers must have valid driver licenses

Deposit Requirements

Cash deposits and prepaid credit cards are not accepted.
 Xceed Car Rental accepts the following rental deposits:
AMEX, VISA, Master Card

Payment Methods

Xceed Car Rental accepts the following methods of payment:
Debit Card, VISA, Master Card, AMEX, Cash

Pick-ups and Drop-offs

No additional charge for pick-ups and drop-offs within the radius of 10 kilometers around Xceed Car Rental Inc.

No smoking vehicles

Smoking is absolutely prohibited in Xceed Car Rental Inc. vehicles as well as pets, unless they are transported in locked pet carriers. Renter will be subjected to detailing/cleaning charge of $150 minimum to $395 maximum if evidence of smoking or having pets is found in our vehicles.

Traffic Violation and Travelling on 407- ETR

You are responsible for any traffic violations incurred due to your use of an Xceed Car Rental Inc. vehicle. This includes, but is not limited to parking, speeding, red light, photo enforcement, and tolling violations. You are liable for all costs from any such violation, including fines for late payment and any processing fees added by the issuing municipality. You are liable for the payments of all tolls and any fines for toll evasion. You must report such violations to an Xceed Car Rental Representative as soon as possible within the prescribed deadline (for example, if the case is being taken to court).  
At any time during the rental period, if you are traveling on any of electronic toll road, 407-ETR or if you are being involved in infracting any traffic law or rule, and we receive any 407- ETR bill or any notice of impending conviction of the infraction for the vehicle you rented, your credit card will be charged by Xceed Car Rental after the rental period. If we receive any such charges, then you will be informed accordingly in due course of time. A minimum of $50.00 will apply as an administration fee, in addition to the accumulated cost of applicable toll charges and/or the set fine amount of the ticket.

Optional Charges and Coverage

Any renter who has transferable insurance, or carries any credit card that covers rental insurance may transfer it to some rental vehicles.
If transferable insurance is not confirmed at the time of the rental, the customer is required to purchase one of the CDW packages offered by our company.
If CDW/LDW is declined, the customer personally assumes full responsibility for the total cash value of the vehicle and any other charges resulting from any damage incurred while rented. 

In case of Major or Minor Incident (Accident)

In case of an incident involving property damage or any third party, the member must fill out an official police report form, and, if possible, provide a jointly agreed-upon statement, complete the Xceed Car Rental incident report form, and obtain the following information:

-Date, time, and place of incident;
-The license plate numbers of any other vehicles involved, their make and year, their identification number (serial number) and the insurance certificate's number (with name, address and phone number of the insurance agent);
-The names, addresses, and driver's license numbers of the persons involved in the incident;
-The name, address, and driver's license number of the owner of the car (if he or she is not the driver);
-The name, addresses, and phone number of witnesses, passengers, and any other involved persons;
-Circumstances of the incident; and
-A police report is required regardless of liability or fault.

Prohibited Uses

The use of an Xceed Car Rental Inc. vehicle under the following conditions is prohibited:
•  Any race or competition
•  For the purpose of towing, pushing, or propelling any trailer or any other vehicle
•  For the primary business purpose of transporting people or operating as a taxi service
•  By any person who is under the influence of (i) alcohol, or (ii) any drug or medication under the effects of which the operation of a vehicle is prohibited or not recommended
•  For carrying out a criminal offense or any other illegal activity
•  In an imprudent, negligent, or abusive manner or for any abnormal use of the vehicle
•  By any person who has provided Xceed Car Rental Inc. with false information or whose representations are determined to be false (regarding his name, age, or address, usage without limitation, etc.)
•  Driving a Xceed Car Rental Inc. vehicle from Canada into the U.S.A, or any use of an Xceed Car Rental Inc. vehicle in U.S.A, or driving while texting, emailing, using a cell phone without a hands-free device

The foregoing examples are not intended to be exhaustive. Any unreasonable or inappropriate use of an Xceed Car Rental Inc. car as determined by Xceed Car Rental Inc. in its sole discretion may be deemed as a violation of these rules.  Xceed car Rental Inc. may report to the authorities of any use of an Xceed Car Rental Inc. vehicle in activities that are in violation of local, state, provincial and/or federal law.

Xceed Car Rental may immediately suspend or terminate the use of its service by any member for the violation of any of these rules. Upon suspension or termination, any existing reservations for the member or associate members (as the case may be) may be canceled by Xceed Car Rental Inc. at its sole discretion. In addition, members will be responsible for all costs, charges, fees and expenses incurred by Xceed Car Rental Inc. as a result of a breach of any of these rules.

Geographic Restrictions

The vehicle may travel within Canada. Traveling to the United States must be mentioned at the time of the rental. Additional charges and kilometer restrictions will apply. Unlimited kilometers are only offered if the renter is travelling within the province. Unlimited kilometers are up to a maximum of 3000kms.
