Q. What are the requirements to rent car from Xceed?
A. The renter must have Valid G driving license, Major Credit and be at least 25 years of age.


Q. How old do I have to be to rent a car from Xceed Car Rental?
A. The renter must be at least 23 years of age. Renters under the age of 25 will be subject to a daily surcharge. Xceed Car Rental will only rent to renters under the age of 23 the ones have rental coverage on their own insurance policy.


Q. What is VLATR?
A. Vehicle Licensing & Air Tax Recovery fee or VLATR is a fee to recover the proportionate cost of vehicle licensing and air conditioning tax applicable to your rental.


Q. What is Loss Damage Waiver (LDW)?
A. The optional Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) offered by car rental companies is not the insurance. Renters may purchase a Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) that reduces the renter's financial liability to a minimum amount for loss or damage to the Xceed Car Rental vehicle as long as the renter complies with the terms of the Xceed Car rental agreement. Cost of LDW, may vary by location, vehicle group and rate. You should check to see if you have coverage for damage to the rental vehicle through your personal insurance or charge card.


Q. What if I decline LDW?
A. If you decline LDW you will be responsible for up to the full fair market value of the vehicle if it is damaged, vandalized or stolen during the rental, You will also be responsible for reimbursing the car rental company for the revenue lost by not being able to use the car while it is being repaired or not recovered due to theft or loss of use.


Q. Who needs LDW?
A. Anybody who does not have any type of insurance, If you accept LDW at the beginning of the rental (for an additional daily fee), your responsibility for loss of or damage to the vehicle is waived in full or in part (depending on the LDW plan accepted), provided the rental agreement is not violated. If declined, you will be fully responsible for all loss or damage to the vehicle, regardless of fault. Your personal automobile policy and some credit cards may provide coverage for these losses. LDW is not insurance or an insurance product. Some locations outside the U.S. require renters to purchase Theft coverage.


Q. Does Xceed Car Rental offer one-way rentals?
A. NO, Xceed do not offer one way rentals.


Q. How old do you have to be to rent a car From Xceed?
A. To rent any vehicle from Xceed Car Rental the minimum age limit is 23 years. However from 23 to 25 ages these drivers should expect to pay a surcharge related to the increased cost of insurance and a company's loss experience.

Q. Is there an additional charge to rent a car if there is going to be more than one driver?
A.Yes, there are additional charges for additional drivers, who must meet minimum age requirements.


Q. What taxes and levies will be added to my rental charge?
A. In addition to the regular rental charges renters are required to pay the following taxes and levies:
 

• HST currently at a rate of 13% on most rental charges
• Tax For Fuel Consumption (TFFC) currently at a rate of $0.99 per day
• Vehicle Licensing & Tax Recovery (VLATR) currently at a rate of $2.95 per day

Q. Can I drive on my International Driving license?
A. Yes, you can, but we would like to see the valid documentary proof, for security reasons.
